From July 28 to August 1, 2026, TAIMU rider Yang Songyi took on the 2026 Red Bull Romaniacs in Sibiu, Romania, aboard the S300R two-stroke off-road motorcycle in the Bronze class.
The goal was not to create a one-off prototype built only for racing. Instead, the S300R entered the event in production-based form, using a Chinese engine and a domestic component supply system. Major systems, including the engine and suspension, were not replaced with specialized overseas racing packages for the event.
Rock, mud, steep climbs, technical forest sections and long off-road stages created a demanding test for both rider and machine. These conditions allowed the team to observe the complete S300R platform under sustained, high-intensity use and collect feedback from a real international hard-enduro environment.
For TAIMU, the value of entering the event went beyond a finishing position. It was an opportunity to put a production-based motorcycle into an extreme environment and learn directly from the experience. Feedback gathered in Romania will support future product development, testing and continuous improvement.
TAIMU will continue to advance its off-road motorcycle platform through real riding, real terrain and real-world feedback.
